Why Labels Go On Crooked (and how to fix it)
Crooked labels are usually a registration system problem: placement consistency, guides, feed alignment, and container variation.
What to check first
- Are bottles being placed the same way every time?
- Are guides actually guiding, or just “kind of there”?
- Is the label feed path straight and tensioned consistently?
- Are containers consistent (diameter/roundness)?
When it’s not worth fighting manually
If you’re doing enough volume that crooked labels are a recurring quality issue, stabilizing the process with semi-automatic application can be the smarter move.
